To visualise the root growth spelt (Triticum spelta syn. T. aestivum subsp. spelta) ear was placed in a rhizobox filled with the dirt. Rhizobox was inclined under 45 degrees for positioning of the growing roots closer to the lower wall in response to gravity. Grains in the spelt ear were grown in rhizobox for 16 days.
