To explore the root growth seeds of sunflower (genus Helianthus), pea (Pisum sativum) and soybean (Glycine max) were placed in a rhizobox filled with the sand. Rhizobox was inclined under 45 degrees for positioning of the growing roots closer to the lower wall in response to gravity. Seeds were grown in rhizobox for 11 days.
